News: Man dies after motorcycle crashes into tree on Marion County Road 464B

MARION COUNTY, FL – An accident in Marion County Tuesday night claimed the life of a motorcycle rider, WKMG reports.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene on County Road 464B near NW 157th Court after the crash occurred at about 10:45 p.m.

According to state troopers, a man was riding a motorcycle westbound when he failed to negotiate a curve.  The bike went over the center line, onto a shoulder, and then crashed into a tree.

The rider, a 47-year-old man from Morriston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
