News: Inverness man critically injured after struck by vehicle

INVERNESS, FL – A man from Inverness was hit and injured by a driver in the town on Friday, reports the Citrus County Chronicle. 

The 40-year-old man was crossing east on Highway 41 near East Hill Street when he was struck by a woman traveling southbound in a sedan.

The man was rushed to an area hospital with critical injuries.

The 73-year-old woman who struck him was uninjured.
