ORANGE COUNTY, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol said one person was killed and two others injured in a crash in Orange County on Sunday night.

WKMG reports the incident happened in the area of State Road 528 and John Young Parkway.  The FHP’s accident report indicated that a driver on John Young Parkway was trying to turn onto the State Road 528 entrance ramp at about 10:50 p.m. when the vehicle entered the median.  It then rotated into the northbound travel lanes and collided with a van and a sedan.

The driver of the first vehicle, a 28-year-old man from Kissimmee, was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.

The driver of the sedan, a 23-year-old man from Orlando, and a 65-year-old man who was driving the van sustained minor injuries.

State troopers are continuing their investigation into the wreck.
