LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL – A pedestrian accident in Lauderdale Lakes on Sunday night claimed the life of a man.
According to a report by CNW, the victim was struck by a 1999 Toyota Camry while crossing NW 31st Avenue near NW 26th Street shortly after 9 p.m.
The unidentified man was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center, where he died a short time later. The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
Investigators to not believe excessive speed, driver impairment, environmental conditions, and mechanical malfunction were factors in the deadly crash.
