News: 1 hospitalized after SUV and pickup collide at Ocala intersection

OCALA, FL – Rescue crews responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in southeast Ocala on Monday.

According to a Facebook post from Ocala Fire Rescue, the accident happened in the area of SE 19th Avenue and SE 31st Street at about 7 a.m.

Crew members arrived to find that an SUV and a pickup truck had collided at that location.  One person was trauma alerted and three others, including two minors, were evaluated as a precaution.  No other injuries were reported.

All westbound lanes of SE 31st Street were blocked off during the morning commute.

Ocala Fire Rescue’s Engine 7, Rescue 2, and Battalion Chief 22 and Marion County Fire Rescue were at the scene.
