News: 15-year-old killed in multi-vehicle crash in NE Ocala

OCALA, FL – One 15-year-old was killed and another was seriously injured in a wrong-way crash in northeast Ocala early Tuesday morning.

According to a report by WFTV, the crash occurred at the intersection of Northeast 14th Street and Northeast 25th Avenue at about 5:15 a.m.

Officers say two 15-year-olds were on Northeast 14th St. when their Toyota sedan veered into the oncoming lanes and collided with a Mitsubishi.

One of the 15-year-olds was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was unhurt.
