MIAMI-DADE CO., FL – A man and a woman were rushed to the hospital following a single-motorcycle crash in the Hialeah area on Sunday.

According to WPLG, the collision took place in the northbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway near the Okeechobee Road overpass.

Police say the driver lost control of his motorcycle for unknown reasons, causing it to eject both riders.

The female passenger was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition. The man was also hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
