MIAMI, FL – A pedestrian was killed last week when they were hit by a vehicle while crossing the street in Pompano Beach last Thursday.
According to a report by CBS Miami, the unidentified victim was struck while walking in the area of West Atlantic Boulevard and Andrews Avenue at about 8:30 a.m.
The pedestrian was taken to Broward Health North, where he died early Friday.
The driver involved fled the scene before first responders arrived. It is unclear if any arrests have ben made in connection to the deadly hit-and-run.
