News: 69-year-old man killed in multi-vehicle crash in Leesburg

LEESBURG, FL – A man from North Carolina died last Friday in a multi-vehicle crash in the Leesburg area, WKMG reports.

The crash took place at the intersection of US-27 and Tally Road.

Investigators say a 2019 Lexus swerved into the rear of a 1988 Cadillac, causing the Cadillac to catch fire.

The Cadillac’s driver, 69-year-old Kenny Ray Amdahl, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
