HERNANDO COUNTY, FL – A vehicle and a bicycle were involved in a fatal collision Sunday morning in Hernando County, state troopers said.
The incident occurred on Sunshine Grove Road north of Montour Street, according to WTFS.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver of a Chrysler 200 was going south in the outer lane of the roadway and failed to notice an electric bicycle going in the same direction.
The car crashed into the bicyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name was not released.
