News: Bicyclist struck and killed by teenage driver in Pasco County

PASCO COUNTY, FL – A bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle in Pasco County Sunday night, reports WTSP.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the victim, a 46-year-old man, was riding north in the center lane of US-19 near State Road 54 when the accident took place shortly after 11:30 p.m.

State troopers said the bicycle rider was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver came to a controlled stop after the collision and sustained minor injuries.
