News: Motorcyclist dies after crashing into guard rail in Indian Shores

INDIAN SHORES, FL – A man died after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in Pinellas County Thursday night, WFLA reported.

The accident happened in the City of Indian Shores in the area of Gulf Boulevard and Park Boulevard Bridge.  According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Kevin Meade was riding a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound at a high rate of speed and crashed into a guard rail.

Meade was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators looking into the cause of the accident said that speed and impairment appeared to have been contributing factors.
