PASCO COUNTY, FL – Pasco County Fire Rescue was called to the scene of a serious vehicle crash on State Road 52 on Monday morning.
According to a Facebook post at 8:30 a.m., the rescue squad and other area first responders were dispatched to the accident near Bellamy Brothers Boulevard. Medical helicopters were called in as well, and three people were transported to an area hospital. There was no immediate word on their conditions.
The Florida Highway Patrol arrived to take over the investigation. No details were released on what led to the wreck.
State Road 52 was shut down during the emergency response, and drivers were advised to use alternate routes.
