OCALA, FL – Two drivers were injured, one critically, when their vehicles collided at an intersection in Ocala last week.

A report by the Ocala Star-Banner said the incident happened Monday at Northeast Osceola Avenue and Northeast 10th Street.

According to police, the driver of a Mitsubishi Eclipse was going south on Osceola Avenue and pulled out in front of a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck going west on Northeast 10th Street.  The pickup truck T-boned the Mitsubishi.

The Mitsubishi driver, a 21-year-old Silver Springs woman, was rushed to HCA Florida Ocala Hospital and was listed in critical condition.  The driver of the pickup, a 68-year-old Sparr man, sustained minor injuries.

The investigation indicated that the Mitsubishi had a stop sign but the Dodge did not have a stop sign at the time of the crash.
