News: Land O’ Lakes man fatally struck by vehicle on Wesley Chapel Blvd.

PASCO CO., FL – A man from Land O’ Lakes was killed when he was hit by a vehicle while walking in the Wesley Chapel area on Sunday morning.

According to the Tampa Free Press, the victim was hit by a GMC Sierra while walking in the northbound lane of Wesley Chapel Boulevard near Hyde Park Boulevard.

The pedestrian, an unidentified 31-year-old man, died at the scene.

The driver of the GMC, Erick Enrique Zheng-Sam, 27, of Martinez, Georgia, was taken into custody after displaying signs of impairment at the scene.
