News: Motorcyclist fatally struck by driver who failed to yield at US-41, FHP says

PASCO COUNTY, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a collision in Pasco County Tuesday evening that left a motorcyclist dead.

According to Pasco News Online, the driver of a Mazda CX-5 was headed east on Tower Road and failed to yield to a southbound Suzuki motorcycle at the intersection with US-41. The Mazda turned left into the path of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man from Spring Hill, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mazda driver, a 70-year-old Land O’Lakes woman, was not injured.

News: Bicycle rider struck by hit-and-run driver in Land O’Lakes

LAND O’LAKES, FL – Authorities are searching for the driver who struck a bicycle rider in Pasco County Saturday night and kept going.

The Tampa Free Press reports the victim was a 55-year-old man from Hudson who was seriously injured. He was hit by a vehicle that was going west on Lake Patience Road near American Plaza Boulevard in Land O’Lakes at about 10:17 p.m.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene afterwards. A passenger side mirror was found at the scene indicating that the vehicle involved was a gray Nissan Altima. Anyone with further information on the hit-and-run was asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol or Crime Stoppers.

News: Police searching for suspect in fatal pedestrian hit-and-run in Pasco Co.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL – A pedestrian was killed by a driver in a Land O’ Lakes parking lot on Monday reports FOX 13.

The collision happened in the parking lot of a permanently closed dance and gymnastics center on Venezia Drive near SR-54. a driver in a black Jeep Wrangler ran over an adult pedestrian and fled the scene.

The victim died of their injuries.
