DADE CITY, FL – Rescue crews responded to the scene of a crash in Dade City on Tuesday afternoon that left seven people injured.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the accident happened on U.S. 301 near Beth Street and was reported at about 4:15 p.m.
Pasco County Fire Rescue said two of the injured victims were hospitalized as trauma alerts, but no further details were released on their conditions. Two vehicles were reported to have sustained heavy damage in the wreck.
DADE CITY, FL – An elderly woman died when her sedan was involved in an accident in Dade City Saturday evening.
The accident happened at the intersection of US-301 and Payne Road at about 6:30 p.m., according to WTSP.
The Florida Highway Patrol said an 80-year-old woman was driving a sedan when her vehicle hit a tractor-trailer. The FHP did not release details on the circumstances that led to the collision.
DADE CITY, FL – State troopers are continuing their search for the driver who left the scene of a crash that killed a pedestrian in Pasco County, WFLA reports.
The Florida Highway Patrol said it is seeking out tips from the public in solving the incident that occurred April 17 along US 301 at about 3:30 a.m. According to investigators, a driver’s vehicle went off the roadway, hit a traffic sign and then struck a woman who was walking along the grass shoulder of US 301.
The victim, a 49-year-old Dade City woman, suffered fatal injuries and troopers said the driver involved did not stop to help.

PLANT CITY, FL – A 59-year-old man from Dade City was killed when a car crashed into his motorcycle in Hillsborough County last week.
According to the Tampa Beacon, the crash happened at the intersection of James L. Redman Parkway and E. Trapnell Road on Feb. 5th.
The motorcyclist was riding northbound on James L. Redman Parkway headed towards Trapnell Road when a sedan turned left into the bike’s path. The 19-year-old driver of the sedan had been traveling south on the roadway when they struck the motorcycle.
